why do i love my local quilt shop? that's easy... it's my happy place!
from the time that sewn studio opened (it will be two years in february!), a visit there has been something that i always know will make my day better. when i started working at sewn, i nervously hoped that wouldn't change.
it's been nearly a year, and i still love this darn shop as much as i ever did. and, yes, it's a job. some days are tougher than others, but it's also the best job in the whole world. just walking through the door is enough to make any day better. great people, beautiful fabrics, fun classes, and the enthusiasm of all of our fabulous customers... yeah, it's a good gig.
and this coming thursday is local quilt shop day! stop by *your* local quilt shop, spread the love, and you can even enter to win some fab prizes!
what do you love about your local quilt shop? write about it and share in the local quilt shop day blog hop! but most important, i highly recommend treats for your favorite quilt shop ladies. personally, i'm a fan of cookies. and i'll be working this thursday, in case you were wondering.
happy stitching!

I am trying to find a local quilt shop! I visited Byrne Fabric Connection, a very nice place, yesterday, but it is an hour from home! Any idea on how to find a shop? I will bring cookies!
